Mountainside w/ Trees: Stands for the leading industry of the Municipality, the source of its income from natural resources, principally vegetation and lumber.
Hoe & Shovel: Stand for community-oriented vegetable produce which the town is well-noted for.
Agricultural Plots w/ Crops: Depict the world-famous Rice Terraces, trademark of the mountain-tilling people.
Basket: Locally called "lagba", used in carrying heavy loads, secured by a band on forehead and strapped on shoulders and back. It represents virtue of industriousness and manual labor for which these people are most noted for.
